Minnesota Bass Fishing |
|
In
Minnesota, bass fishing is one of the mainstays of summer
fun. You can find largemouth bass in nearly every lake in
the region. Some of the 40 lakes I fish are Gull Lake, North
Long Lake, Hubert Lake, Middle Cullen Lake, Lower Cullen
Lake, Mission Lake, Cedar Lake, Farm Island Lake, Bay Lake
and Rabbit Lake. One of the great things about largemouth
bass fishing in Minnesota, is that these fish are exciting
to catch, they’re aggressive in warm water and kids
especially have a great time landing these fish. Largemouth
bass are famous for their fast strikes and leaps into the
air—you won’t get bored fishing for Bass! I’ve had a lot of
success catching bass with a locally made jig and worm. When
clients tell me they just want to catch fish—they don’t care
what type—I take them to the hottest bass spots where you’re
guaranteed to have a great time!
Many of my clients enjoy bass fishing Gull Lake. Cass
County, Minnesota has some of Minnesota’s most best bass
lakes—and Gull Lake has long been a favorite of fishing
enthusiasts. It’s clear water, shallows (30 % of Gull Lake
is less than 15 feet deep) and weeded areas make it a
perfect largemouth bass habitat. Bass prefer warm water and
as water temperatures rise, head toward the warmest areas.
Bass fishing in Minnesota is fast becoming popular as
anglers realize how fun these fish are to catch. Most bass
average around one to two pounds. Trophy size is around six
pounds and the record largemouth bass caught in 2005 weighed
8 pounds 15 ounces and was caught in Carver County.
If you’re interested in a day of spectacular fishing full of
excitement and suspense, book a day of Minnesota bass
fishing. You’ll make memories you’ll never forget! |
